PROJECT PRESENTATION

“Competitive Together”

Co-financed Project from the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Program Competitiveness 2014-2020

Priority Axis 2 – Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for a Competitive Digital Economy

Specific Objective 2.2: Development of ICT products and services, e-commerce, and ICT demand.

Action 2.2.1: “Supporting the added value growth generated by the ICT sector and innovation in the field through the development of clusters.”

Contract: 62/04.08.2017, SMIS 115726

The iCLOUDSOLUTIONS project aims to increase the contribution of the ICT sector to the competitiveness of the Romanian economy by developing software solutions based on dynamic nomenclatures. These can be adapted to different industries, thus addressing the specific objective of POC 221 to increase the contribution of the ICT sector to economic competitiveness.

The dynamic nomenclature system in building software applications, the innovative idea from which this project started, is based on a defining and protective system that ensures data accuracy and eliminates the redundancy process.

Specific Objectives:

  • Development of a specific ICT application for occupational medicine companies, iCloudMed, for managing the client database, companies, or employees, related investigations (medical examinations and risk factor records), and generating reports on medical examination planning, reporting of services provided, and specific lists of employees with special medical checks. The benefits of such an application include the use of nomenclatures for defining categories of diseases and treatments, predefined results and standard medical analyses, and user management for both company clients and individual employees.
  • Development of an innovative cloud services application, iCloudServices, to match demand with supply in a virtual environment. The benefits of such an application include the use of nomenclatures for defining service categories, different types of beneficiaries and providers, predefined user management, and the generation of synthetic and analytical reports based on information and services provided.

Technologies:

“We develop robots with the latest UiPath RPA technologies as a silver partner.”

ACTIVITIES

  • Experimental Development – Occupational Medicine Application Prototype – iCloudMed:

The development of the iCloudMed application prototype is based on an evolutionary structure and Agile methodology, involving iterative improvements at each stage as new aspects are identified during each activity.

  • Experimental Development – Cloud Services Application Prototype – iCloudServices:

Similar to iCloudMed, the development of the iCloudServices application prototype follows an evolutionary structure and Agile methodology, with iterative improvements at each stage as new aspects are identified during each activity.

MEDIA

Information and Publicity Measures

Organization of Events for Project Results Dissemination:

  • Workshop for Result Dissemination – Organized on 11.07.2019 at the 1 Decembrie 1918 University in Alba Iulia, attended by 43 people. The event included two workshops: Workshop 1 – laboratory work in student groups and Workshop 2 – brainstorming in student groups. Demonstrations of the applications developed in the iCLOUDMED and iCLOUDSERVICES projects were conducted. Participants also enjoyed catering services.
  • Conference for Result Dissemination – Organized on 30.07.2019 in one of the event halls of the 1 Decembrie 1918 University in Alba Iulia, attended by 44 people. The event covered project activities, duration, budget, and practical demonstrations of prototypes developed in the iCLOUDMED and iCLOUDSERVICES projects. Advantages and innovative aspects of the applications were presented during the demonstrations.
